The partnership also has a strong personal connection through Dan Clarke, CSA Property Services’ General Manager, Projects & Maintenance, who coaches the Tiger Sharks’ senior men’s team. His involvement reflects the leadership, preparation and teamwork required both on the football field and in his role at CSA.

Supporting Country Football in Cervantes

Running a country football club requires consistent work throughout the season. Training, team administration, facility preparation and match-day operations all depend on coaches, committee members and volunteers contributing their time. CSA’s sponsorship supports the Tiger Sharks as they represent Cervantes in the Central Midlands Coastal Football League and recognises the people who contribute throughout the season.

Dan Clarke and the Cervantes Tiger Sharks

CSA Property Services’ connection to the Cervantes Tiger Sharks is strengthened by Dan Clarke. Dan is CSA’s General Manager, Projects & Maintenance and coaches the club’s senior men’s team.

In his role at CSA, Dan leads the Projects & Maintenance division with a focus on safety, practical delivery and client value. His background in commercial property and hands-on project coordination helps him understand what is required to keep work organised, communicate clearly and follow through properly.

Dan’s involvement creates a genuine connection between CSA and the Tiger Sharks. He works directly with the senior team, understands the preparation required throughout the season and contributes his time to the players and wider club community.

A Historic Country Championships Achievement

Dan Clarke’s contribution to country football extended beyond the Cervantes Tiger Sharks when he was selected to coach the combined Central Midlands Coastal Football League team at the 2026 Nutrien Ag Solutions Men’s Country Championships.

The 28-player representative squad brought together footballers from across the league, including 10 players from Cervantes. Competing in Division Two, Central Midlands Coastal progressed through the tournament undefeated and earned a place in the Grand Final against Eastern Districts.

Central Midlands Coastal defeated Eastern Districts 10.4 (64) to 7.6 (48) in the Grand Final. The victory secured the Division Two championship and promotion to Division One in 2027, returning the league to the top division for the first time in 33 years.

While Dan’s selection as coach was a significant achievement, the championship was the result of a genuine team effort. Players from across the league came together to represent their clubs and communities, supported by assistant coaches, team staff, volunteers and the many supporters who followed the side throughout the tournament.

Dan’s role as coach, together with the selection of 10 Cervantes players in the representative squad, gave the Tiger Sharks a substantial presence in the championship campaign. Their contribution connected the club directly to a result that ended Central Midlands Coastal’s 33-year wait to return to Division One.
